Q1. Which devices support 6GHz wireless signal?

Wi-Fi 6E is hardware-dependent. Client devices manufactured before 2020 is not likely to support 6GHz Wi-Fi. For the client devices which support WiFi6E, they are basically supported from the chipset level. Like in the PC market, it's supported by the Intel AX210 wireless network adapter; for Mobile Phones, they are usually supported with the Snapdragon 888 and Snapdragon 8Gen1 chipset, which means the newest High-End Android mobile phone will support this in the common case.

Below is some common wireless client devices that support 6GHz radio :

  • Laptop and Desktop with Intel NIC AX210(Currently 6 GHz Band is only supported on Windows 11.)
  • Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra
  • Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 & Galaxy Z Flip 3
  • Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3
  • Xiaomi Mi 11 &Mi 11 Ultra
  • ASUS ROG Phone 5 & ROG Phone 5 Ultimate
  • google Pixel 6
  • Pixel 6 Pro
  • Motorola Edge (2021)

Note:

Your device includes WiFi 6E-capable hardware might not have Wi-Fi 6E capabilities since the regulators of some regions have not approved the 6G band. We suggest you consult your client device manufacturers to find out if your client device supports 6Ghz Wi-Fi or not.
