The Deco Whole-Home Wi-Fi System allows you to add a network printer.

Case 1. If your printer has an Ethernet port, connect it to any Deco’s LAN port to go to the internet.

If the printer fails to connect to the internet:

  1. Try a different port on the Deco or connect to a different Deco.
  2. Try a different Ethernet cable.
  3. Confirm if the printer has a static IP address or not. If so, change the IP settings on the printer to obtain an IP address automatically.
  4. Ensure the Ethernet port on the printer is working. If there is an old router, connect the printer to the old router to have a test.

Case 2. If you want to connect the printer wirelessly, find the Wi-Fi name of the Deco on the printer, and then enter the wireless password to connect. If you are unsure how to do so, please contact your printer’s manufacturer.

If the printer fails to connect to the Deco’s Wi-Fi, refer to the link to troubleshoot.
