    Job Description:

    We are looking for a highly motivated B2B Account Manager to join our talented team to help scale our growing company. The B2B Account Manager is responsible for the sales growth through new customer acquisition, customer retention and growth opportunities with existing accounts. As an Account Manager you are passionate about understanding business drivers for performance, the range of ad products available, and engaging with internal and external partners to deliver strategic recommendations. You also thrive in ambiguous situations, with the ability to be a self-starter and find solutions with/without guidance.

     

    Duties / Responsibilities:

    • Strategic planning for business growth by achieving B2B sales targets
    • Identify and develop new business opportunities through strategic prospecting
    • Responsible for maintaining and building a more cohesive relationship with customers
    • Plan and execute channel marketing programs
    • Understanding of networking industry and experience in working collaboratively with Engineers to provide outstanding customer support and satisfaction

     

    Qualifications:

    • Post-secondary education
    • 5+ years experience in IT B2B business is a must
    • Technical background in Networking is an asset 
    • Demonstrated high level of strategic planning, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
    • B2B experience and understanding of the Canadian market an asset
    • Able to proactively cold call into net new accounts in order to drive new business
    • Excellent time management and prioritization skills

    Role Summary

    We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Engineer to join our growing team in Richmond Hill, ON. Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, the Sales Engineer will be responsible for company product presentation, provide trusted technical advice, develop relationship with organization.

     

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and confidently deliver presentations of the company's products/solutions to prospects and customers (resellers, end-users, distributors, etc.)
    • Articulate the company’s technical value proposition, differentiators, and capabilities
    • Provide trusted technical advice and recommendations to clients
    • Develop working relationships with partner organizations to ensure effective collaboration in responding to customer needs
    • Demonstrate products/solutions to technical and non-technical audiences, at executive and/or technical levels, both pre-and post-sales
    • Deliver internal and external training on the company's existing and new products/solutions
    • Respond to the tenders/inquiries and produce detailed proposals
    • Engage directly with sales and account teams to support pre-sales activities
    • Ensure close cooperation with Product Management by integrating customer feedback into a product roadmap.  

     

    Desired Skills and Experience

    • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
    • Ability to work independently within a fast-evolving technical environment
    • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and have an ongoing desire to stay current with the latest technologies
    • Experience in one or more of the following disciplines: switching, wireless, and routing
    • Experience in preparing business solution proposals
    • Excellent written and verbal communication in English, French is an asset
    • Sound knowledge and practical experience in the area of pre-sales activities
    • Diploma in Computer Technology-related discipline (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, etc.)
    • Industry-recognized certificates are assets
    • 5 years Networking Engineer experience
