The different configurations of Bridge with AP mode among the TP-Link outdoor access points

Although TL-WA5210G, TL-WA7510N and TL-WA7210N all have bridge with AP mode they have differences of configuration.
This article is aimed to clarify the differences.
TL-WA5210G
1. Bridge Mode:
When TL-WA5210G is configured as Bridge Mode, both AP1 and AP2 should be configured as Bridge mode and input each other's BSSID (MAC address).
You CANNOT connectany wireless clients/devices to them after they have been configured as Bridge (Point to Point) mode. They cannot provide local wireless access on this mode.
It only supports WEP when the TL-WA5210G is configured as bridge mode.

2. Bridge with AP Mode:
There is an option called With AP Mode on the page. If you tick it (as image of AP2) TL-WA5210Gwill broadcast a local Wireless network with the same wireless name and password as the root AP (as image of AP1).
TL-WA7510N
TL-WA7510N only have Bridge with AP mode.
Both AP1 and AP2 should be configured as Bridge with AP and input each other's BSSID (MAC address). TL-WA7510N (as image of AP2) will broadcast a local wireless network with the same security type and passwordas the root AP (as image of AP1), but the wireless name (SSID) can be configured differently.
You can only hide the SSID of local wireless network but cannot disablewireless radio.
It only supports WEP when it’s configured in Bridge with AP mode.

TL-WA7210N
TL-WA7210N only have Bridge with AP mode.
You just need to configure one side as Bridge with AP. The other side should be configured as Access Point. If both are configured as Bridge with AP there will be loop in the network.
TL-WA7210N will broadcast a local Wireless network. You can setup a different wireless name and password for local wireless network. The local wireless radio can be disabled independently.
And WDS function can be enable if it is needed (The firmware of TL-WA7210N_V2_140730 and later has WDS).
Bridge with AP supports WPA-Personal.

Note:
The built-in antennas of TL-WA5210G, TL-WA7210N and TL-WA7510N are directional, so the local wireless coverage is limited. At the back of the AP there will be little or no wireless signal.
