If the modem router is not bound to a TP-Link ID, the only way to access the modem router is to reset the router to factory default settings. After resetting, you can login again and set a new administrator password.

Note:

If you reset the device, the device will return to factory defaults, you will lose all your settings.

Step 1 With the Router powered on, directly press and hold the reset button with a pin for approximately 6 to 10 seconds, release the reset button and wait for the device to reboot automatically to its factory default settings.
