If the Deco app shows that your SIM card cannot be detected by the 4G/5G Deco, please follow this article for troubleshooting.

Scenario 1 SIM Status shows No SIM Card Detected

Step 1: Reinsert the SIM card, make sure it is inserted correctly and firmly.

Step 2: Restart the main Deco while the SIM card still inserted into the device.

Step 3: Test the SIM card on your smartphone to make sure the SIM card itself is working fine.

Step 4: Try to insert a different SIM card if you have.

Step 5: Factory reset the Deco by pressing the reset button for 1s, and reconfigure the Deco.

Scenario 2 No SIM Card Detected during Setup

Step 1: Factory reset the Deco by pressing the reset button for 1s, and reconfigure the Deco.

Step 2: Set up the Deco as a Wi-Fi Router and then switch it back to 4G/5G Router operation mode. Check if the SIM card is detected. If not, refer to the first scenario.

If the problem still exists after the above troubleshooting, please contact TP-Link Support and provide the following information:

1. Model number, hardware, and firmware version of the Deco.

2. The troubleshooting steps you have tried and the results.

3. When and where did you purchase it? Was it working fine before?
